No referral is required as North Carolina offers direct access for occupational therapy services, meaning you can begin care when you are ready. That said, if you'd like us to share information with your provider, just let us know—we value a collaborative, team-based approach to care.
Important Note:
If you plan to submit for insurance reimbursement, your insurance provider may require a referral. Please check with your insurance company to understand their out-of-network reimbursement requirements.
Eos Pelvic Health and Wellness is a cash-based practice, which means we do not bill insurance directly. Payment is due in full at the time of service. This model allows us to focus fully on your care, your comfort, and your healing without the limitations and restrictions imposed by insurance companies.
Upon request, we’re happy to provide a detailed receipt (superbill) that you may submit to your insurance provider for potential out-of-network reimbursement if eligible. However, please know that Eos Pelvic Health and Wellness does not guarantee insurance reimbursement of any kind as coverage varies by plan. We recommend contacting your insurance provider to learn more about your benefits.
Important Note: Due to federal regulations, we are unable to provide services to individuals covered by Medicare.
Your first visit is a detailed session focused on getting to know you. We’ll take time to review your health history, daily routines, habits, emotional well-being, and goals to understand the bigger picture of what may be contributing to your concerns.
From there, we’ll move into an assessment that may include posture, breathing, core function, movement patterns, and, if helpful, an external or internal pelvic floor assessment. Everything is always guided by your comfort and consent.
Together, we’ll create a personalized, collaborative care plan designed to improve function, reduce pain, and support your pelvic health and overall wellness. Our goal is that you leave not only with a clear plan, but also with a deeper understanding of your body and confidence in your healing journey.
Healing looks different for everyone, so the number of sessions you need will depend on your goals, your symptoms, and how your body responds to treatment. After your initial evaluation, we’ll create a plan designed to meet your unique needs. Some clients notice improvements in just a few sessions, while others benefit from ongoing support over a longer period of time. Our goal is to make your pelvic floor wellness journey feel manageable, effective, and fully tailored to you.
You are absolutely welcome to attend your session while on your menstrual cycle. Being on your period won't interfere with your care, and in some cases, it can even offer helpful insight into how your body is feeling during that time of the month. That said, your comfort is always our top priority. We'll tailor each session to how you're feeling and can adjust or skip any parts of treatment as needed. Just let us know what feels best for you.
